Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, and equipment, required to perform semi-annually preventive maintenance and unlimited repair of the Leica Tissue Processor (model ASP300) and Leica Slide Stainer (model H44-220) at VA Medical Center, Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System, AL. This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. The RFP will be advertised on this site or about August 9, 2006 as a 100% Small Business set-a-side, with a NAICS Code of 339113 with the size standard of 500 employees. Contract award will be for a base year plus four option years. Work under this award must start October 1, 2006.
