The VA Puget Sound Health Care System, Seattle Division, located at 1660 S. Columbian Way, Seattle, WA 98108 intends to negotiate a single source contract for the off-site emergency repair of two Karl Storz endoscopes. This proposed action in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source is being conducted under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. If any source believes it can furnish the service described above, it is encouraged to furnish information about its services and related products, as well as references from other customers. Supporting evidence (i.e. authorized service provider, etc.) must be furnished, in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. All responses are to be received within 2 business days after publication of this notice.
