Los Angeles Air Force Base Fitness Center is seeking one small business to perform monthly preventative maintenance and repair to exercise equipment in two locations: 1) Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, California, and 2) Fort MacArthur, San Pedro, California. The sites are 21 miles apart. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Please respond only if you own/represent a small business. The following is an expanded job description. The contractor shall perform preventative maintenance to manufacturer's specifications that shall include the following: Adjust, clean lubricate all springs, belts, chains, assemblies, cables, pulleys, bearings, links, transmissions, gears, beds, rollers, bushings, drives, rods, etc. Inspect all motors, alternators, transmissions, and power supplies, monitors, control boards and consoles to ensure they are in proper working order and electrical output/supply is sufficient. Ensure all pedals, frame guards, foot straps, side and chain guard covers, handle grips, down stops, handle assemblies, adjusting knobs, handles and adjusting pins are not worn or broken. Make all repairs needed including reupholster worn/torn pads. An Air Force Equipment Maintenance schedule is available upon request. The contractor will provide the contract monitor (CM) with a list of equipment repaired along with a copy of each invoice submitted to DFAS for payment. The invoice must break out the cost of all materials and labor provided.The Contractor will: Coordinate service schedule with the CM, call CM to reschedule service for any delay in service, set-up and clean up the work area, clean all equipment and machines, test each piece of equipment for proper function, inform the CM of any deficiencies identified during preventative maintenance. The Contractor or alternate(s) shall be available during normal duty hours to respond, repair or replace with loaned equipment within twenty-four (24) hours any inoperable equipment. After normal duty hours the contractor, or designated alternate, shall be available within forty-eight (48) hours. **(Please provide separate quotes for 24-hr, 48-hr, and 72-hr response and repair time). List of Equipment: El Segundo 20 EA Hammer strength machines, 1 Treadwall, 2 Gravitrons, 30 Cybex's machines, 4 Smith machines, 3 Lifefitness Steppers, 3 StepMills, 3 Treadmills, 5 LifeFitness Crosstrainers, 5 Lifefitness upright bikes, 5 Lifefitness recumbent bikes, 2 Concept rowers, 1 Cybex cable crossover, 1 LifeFitness crossover, 36 various benches. Fort MacArthur 2 LifeFitness cross trainers, 3 LifeFitness steppers, 4 LifeFitness treadmills, 2 Concept rowers, 2 LifeFitness upright bikes, 3 LifeFitness recumbent bikes, 1 Cable crossover, 14 Nautilus machines, 8 Cybex's machines, 10 Maxicam machines, 5 various benches.
