Sole Source Synopsis N66001-17-T-0035 Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC Pacific) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Mandiant FireEye, Inc. The requirement is for 12 months of services to support use and repair of existing Mandiant hardware and software (procured through N66001-16-P-0045) in performance of discovery and counter-infiltration in response to cyber intrusion. Incident responses appliances are a class of software and hardware combination that detect cyber intrusions on networks and are utilized in both the detection of, and the forensics of a network breach. Based on the aforementioned facts, only one responsible source and no other supplier or services will satisfy agency requirements in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a request for quote. However, any firm believing that they can fulfill the requirement of providing these services may be considered by the agency.
