The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA intends to award a purchase order to Markey Machinery Co., 4634 East Marginal Way South, Seattle, WA 98134 under the authority FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation EA133M-05-RQ-1330. Only one responsible source is available to satisfy the agency requirement for a MARKEY DESH – 5 Winch Modification from .322 EM to .375 cable and refurbish the level wind assembly on the forward MARKEY DESH 5 winch. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All information received by4:00 p.m., EST, 03/24/05 will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
