This is a Sources Sought Notice only. The Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO8) NF/SG Veterans Healthcare System, 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, FL 32608 is conducting market research to determine the availability of SDVOSB/VOSB S businesses capable of providing a maintenance agreement for the Optifill II located at the Gainesville, FL VAMC and the Villages, FL OPC. The applicable NAICS code is 812119. Interested contractors are requested to submit a capability statement and certificates certifying training on the Opti fill II outlining their ability to meet or exceed this potential requirement no later than 4:30 pm (Eastern Standard Time), June 30, 2018. The government will use the results of this announcement to determine whether the acquisition of the above described requirement should be solicited as a small business set-aside, or whether full and open competition procedure should be utilized. SEE STATEMENT OF WORK
Background:
The NF/SG Veterans Health System maintains an annual service contract on the Arxium Optifill Automated Pharmacy equipment located at the Gainesville VA Medical Center and the Villages Outpatient Clinic.
Objective:
This service contract is to ensure safe and reliable medical equipment while meeting all safety requirements, industry standards and regulations. This shall be completed to ensure maximum uptime with minimal impact on patient care.
Scope of Work:
Scheduled Preventative Maintenance and Emergency repairs to be conducted to ensure all medical equipment is operating with in manufacturer s specifications and functioning at maximum efficiency.

All parts, tools, labor and travel to perform maintenance service and repairs (preventive or corrective are included in the monthly support fee. Parts requiring replacement to maintain the equipment in accordance with OEM specifications will be replaced on a rebuilt or new part basis.

Technician will arrive on site with 24 hrs of service call.

Qualifications/Certifications:
The contractor shall be technically trained on the Optifill/Quickfill/ FastFill equipment by Arxium and have the required levels of professional and technical experience to perform the work required by this statement of work. A certificate of training completion by the Field Service Engineer may be requested at anytime during the contract.
Safety Regulations:
Ensure unit meet meets all industry standards, specifications and guidelines.
( USPC, OSHA, JCAHO, NFPA, DEA and the FDA)
The VA Safety Officer shall have full authority to see that the contractor obeys all safety rules and regulations relative to the fulfillment of this contract.
Scheduling and Hours of Work:
All work in areas involved shall be scheduled with the Supervisor of Biomedical Engineering (or designee) and the staff in the Pharmacy area.
Work shall be scheduled for proper execution to completion of this contract.
All contractors must first sign in at the Biomedical Engineering Office.
