The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15 intends to negotiate a commercial sole source contract with Philips Medical Systems, 22100 Bothell Everett Highway, Bothell, Washington 98021 under the authority FAR 6.302-1. This procurement is to obtain service and maintenance for the Philips Allura Xpert FD10 Cardiovascular System and related equipment located at the Columbia VA Medical Center, 800 Hospital Drive, Columbia, Missouri 65201. The base period of service will be from March 24, 2007 through March 23, 2008. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposal based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
