The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN19 - Contracting, Grand Junction, Colorado, intends to award a sole source commercial purchase order in accordance with FAR Parts 8.002 "Priorities for use of Government Supply Sources" & 8.405-6 "Limited Sources Justification and Approval". This notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53, July 5, 2011. The North America Industry Classification System Code [NAICS] is 811219 Other electronic and Precision Equipment Repair & Maintenance (medical) and the size standard is $7.0M
The government has determined that Philips Healthcare, a Division of Penac, Philips Medical Systems North America is the only source that can satisfy this agency requirement. The requirement is for preventative and corrective maintenance (24/7) for Allura 9 Digital Cardiac System, Integris All URA 9, Digital Diag-Dual, BV Pulsera, Bucky Diagnost TH, Bucky Diagnost ST Ceiling for the VAMC - Salt Lake City, 500 Foothill Blvd, Salt Lake City, UT.
All responsible sources under government contract may submit a response, which if timely received, will be considered by The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN19 -Contracting, Grand Junction, Colorado. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals.
Any company that feels they have items that meet the needs of the Government must submit their technical data (2 pages or less) to support their claim. The information must explain the company's ability to overcome propriety information and their government contract number. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis.
