The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15 intends to negotiate a commercial sole source contract with Sustainment Technologies under the authority FAR 6.206 and FAR 19.1406. This procurement is to obtain service and maintenance for the Philips Forte Nuclear Medicine Camera and workstation located at the Poplar Bluff VA Medical Center, 1500 N. Westwood Blvd., Poplar Bluff, Missouri 63901-3318. The base period of service will be from May 15, 2006 to September 30, 2006 and up to four (4) Option Years after the base period. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposal based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
