Under the authority of FAR 6, subpart 6.302, the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center Augusta, GA (VISN 7), contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with Mumps AudioCare Systems, Inc., 1436 Lancaster Avenue, Suite 260, Berwyn, PA 19312. Mumps AudioCare System, Inc. will provide preventive maintenance on their Mumps AudioCare Talk Interactive Telephony System and its associated parts at the VA Medical Center Birmingham, AL. The Performance Period will be October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008 with four option years for renewal. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811213 with a standard size of $6.5 million. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 3 days after publication of this synopsis. Interest parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements to the Contracting Officer or by fax at 478-274-5609. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
