The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire on a 100% small business set-aside basis maintenance support services for all of J9's networked and stand-alone black and white (B&W) and color printers. J9 is a directorate of the U.S. Joint Forces Command located at the Joint Experimentation Center in Suffolk, VA. Support includes the planning, evaluation, implementation and documentation of preventative maintenance and depot-level repair maintenance to assure the operational capabilities of J9's networked and stand-alone printers. The RFQ shall contain a requirement for a base period of performance beginning1 September 2002 or date of award,whichever is later, through twelve months thereafter with two (2) one-year renewal option periods. A firm-fixed price type of contract is anticipated. Evaluation will be based on past performance and price. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and small business size standard are 811212 and $21M, respectively. Upon its release, the RFQ will be made available electronically at www.neco.navy.mil. The RFQ will not be made available in hardcopy form.
