NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Electronic Systems Center, Cryptologic Systems Contracting Division (ESC/HNCK) intends to award on a sole source basis a Fixed Price contract for the repair of RBM I & RBM II to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), SECHAN Electronics, Inc., 525 Furnace Hills Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. This proposed repair acquisition will include the following: eight (8) lots, RBM I & RBM II, NSNs: 6140ND022503J, 6140ND022504, P/N: 5670-TASS-1008. Required Delivery: 30 days after receipt of assets. The proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one (1) responsible source. The Government intends to make an award by May 2011. No technicaldata/drawings/Technical Orders are available. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify its interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within ten (10) days of this publication.
