An Indefinite Quantity Labor Hour contract to provide the maintenance, replacing and shorting cables, tests, repairs, adjustments, and replacement of components in 300 elevators and 40 escalators under the jurisdiction of the Architect of the Capitol, Washington, D.C. The Government will issue Task Order[s] to the Contractor for services which are of a routine, non routine, or emergency nature performance of work under this contract. Exclusive of emergency situations, no more than twelve (12) service personnel to be supplied by the Contractor, for work on site, at any one time; and of this maximum number, no more than four (4) workers per job-site shall be employed on any work assignment. NOTE: Elevator maintenance service requirements for an urgent or emergency nature will require the Contractor's employees, in the categories and number specified, at the site of work within two (2) hours from time of telephonic notification. The term of contract shall be from October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2003, with four one-year options.
