The Government intends to award a firm fixed price, 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. These are flight safety parts. This is a fully competitiv e requirement. The maintenance and overhaul/repair shall be in accordance with the specific instructions set forth in the Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 55-1650-395 dated 31 January 1987, Changes 1 through 5, and applicable AMCOM Engineering Di rectives (AEDs). The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. All responsible sources that can perform the above effort, may submit an offer that may be considered by the Agency. This requirement is currently unfunded.
