The Naval Air Systems Command plans to issue a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-05-G-0004 with Rolls-Royce Corporation, Indianapolis, IN 46241 for integrated logistics support and sustaining engineering tasks to be performed in CY2005 to support the T56-A-427 engines that powers the E-2 fleet of the Foreign Military Sales customer, France. The required support includes systems engineering; configuration management; data collection, management, analysis and modeling; manufacturing support; field services; and risk reduction and safety program support. Rolls-Royce Corporation is the designer, developer and manufacturer of the T56-A-427 and is, therefore, the only source that possesses the indepth technical knowledge and technical data necessary to provide these services within the time required to meet French FMS requirements.
