The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 7, Augusta, GA intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with Viasys Respiratory Care; for a five-year contract for the maintenance of the Viasys Portable Ventilators at the CAVHCS, Medical Center, Montgomery, Alabama. The NACIS code is 811219 and size standard is $6.5 million. The contract period will be from November 5, 2007 through September 30, 2008 with four option years. This Notice of intent is Not a REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
