The Strategic Systems Programs intends to issue a contract with The Boeing Company (TBC), Missile Defense and Space Command, Anaheim, CA for TRIDENT II (D5 and BACKFIT) Strategic Weapon Systems (SWS) Navigation Subsystem Fiber Optic Gyro (FOG) Inertial Equipment Manufacturing and Test. As the design agent, BNA is the only source with the requisite design background, system knowledge, test facilities, special tooling and operational experience relative to the TRIDENT Navigation Subsystems SWS Inertial Equipment Systems capable of providing the required supplies and services within existing cost and schedule constraints.
