This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial equipment prepared in accordance with FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items as supplemented with additional information, included in this notice. This combined synopsis/solicitation issued by U.S. Air Force. This requirement is for the factory system upgrade to one Gage Block Comparator 130B-24 with customer supplied computer to include replacement of the system amplifier with newly designed unit, sensor reconditioning, and total system calibration. The system is to be checked against new instrument performance specifications with AFMETCAL our primary standards. New software may need to be altered to meet Air Force guidelines and specifications. This acquisition will be acquired full and open competition. Request delivery within 8-10 weeks after receipt of order. Deliveries are F.O.B. origin, Inspection/Acceptance at destination, to 5291 Skeel Avenue Building 30206 North Annex, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price purchase order resulting from this solicitation.
