The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2, hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract, for a period of base + 4 option years to ARxIUM, Inc., 1400 Busch Pkwy., Buffalo Grove, IL 60089-4541. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be prepared. The period of performance shall be a base year beginning 05/20/2021 through 05/19/2022. The contract will provide inspection, support, and repair of the ARxIUM equipment, software, and accessories of the OptiFill at the New Jersey VA Medical Center, East Orange campus, 385 Tremont Avenue, East Orange, NJ 07018. NAICS code: 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance (SBA Size Standard $22 Million). These support services are required to maintain the East Orange, New Jersey VAMC ARxIUM OptiFill system in accordance with the manufacturer s specifications. This is a service agreement for Pharmacy Service s automated drug dispensing systems. The vendor is the original equipment manufacturer and is the only source for repair parts and proprietary software. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than April 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM, Eastern Time (ET). A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered.
