The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Draeger Medical located at 3135 Quarry Road, Telford, PA 18969 The contractor shall provide full maintenance on site for Draeger Anesthesia and Ventilators, to include all replacement parts, software updates, labor, travel expenses, tools, test equipment and other incidentals necessary to maintain or restore the equipment to operating specifications which meet or exceed the manufacturers specifications. The Draeger Medical equipment is proprietary and may only be purchased through Draeger Medical or from one of its authorized distributors. Draeger Medical is the sole source service provider for the maintenance and repair services for Draeger equipment. The place of performance is at the Harry S. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.
