Notice of Intent for Sole Source for Maintenance and Repair Services for the Medtronic Stealth S8 manufactured by MEDTRONIC SOFAMOR DANEK USA Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-l(b) (1), the Government, intends to issue a sole source award to MEDTRONIC SOFAMOR DANEK USA in the amount of $347,650.00 with four option years to provide maintenance service for the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, 4101 Woolworth Ave, Omaha, NE 68105-3601 MEDTRONIC SOFAMOR DANEK USA has sole proprietary rights. The proposed contract action procures maintenance services (IT, repair services, factory authorized parts) for one each Medtronic Stealth S8 for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per 41 USC §3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for quote and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with this notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated services/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications.
