The purpose of this notice is to comply with the synopses and pre-solicitation notice requirements of FAR 5.2 - Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. Any solicitation resulting from this notice will be handled in accordance with FAR 5.102; therefore, availability of any resulting solicitation package will be made pursuant to this clause.

The Library of Congress (Library) intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the procurement of janitorial services for its National Audio Visual Conservation Center located at 19053, Mt. Pony Road, Culpepper, VA 22701.

The Library will issue a RFP on or about 10 days from the posting of this notice. Please do not consider this announcement a RFP, and do not submit your proposals until a formal RFP is posted on the FedBizOpps website: http://www.fbo.gov.
