The Black Hills National Forest intends to issue a Request For Quotes (RFQ) to award a single, firm fixed price contract to provide janitorial services for the Hell Canyon Ranger District Offices, Custer County, SD. The office complex located at 330 Mt Rushmore Road contains approximately 3,628 square feet of floor area including one story below ground, two stories above ground, and a small one story office building located directly behind the main office with approximately 800 square feet of floor area. The office building located at 635 3rd Street contains approximately 2,329 square feet of floor area, with one story below ground level and one story above ground. The small unisex restroom at the district warehouse complex has approximately 48 square feet of floor area and is above ground. The floor coverings include painted concrete, painted wood, tile, and carpeted floors. Carpet is the most prominent floor covering. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561720 with a size standard of $16.5 million. Project is a total Small Business Set Aside. Services will run from December 1, 2012 through November 30, 2013. This is a base year contract with four option years. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, incidentals, and perform all required work in accordance to the terms, conditions, specifications, and provisions of the proposed contract. The solicitation and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps and available for downloading on or about October 4, 2012.
