The Tuskegee Ranger District, 125 National Forest Road 949, Tuskegee, AL  36083 has a requirement for Janitorial Services.  This solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,” as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. 

This requirement is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ).  The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-02 effective 12-23-2019.

This procurement is set aside 100% for small business concerns.  Only offers from small business concerns will be accepted.  The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561720 (Housekeeping Custodial Services) with a small business size standard of $7.5M.  Please ensure you have or have added this NAICS in System for Award Management (SAM).

 NO BONDING IS REQUIRED.

 The Contractor must be actively registered with no exceptions in SAM to be awarded any resultant contract.

It is the offeror’s responsibility to ensure the quote has been received by the contracting office by email confirmation.  Fax quotes will not be accepted.  Late quotes will be processed in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f) “Late submission, modifications, revisions, and withdrawals of offers.”

Site Visit:  Offerors are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to visit the location before responding to this solicitation.

Period of Performance: The Base Period will begin at award and the Government anticipates an 8 month performance period.  Each successive Option Year Period (if exercised) is anticipated to be a 12 month performance period and will begin immediately upon expiration of the previous performance period.

 Notice to Offerors:  The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) multi-year contract for this requirement.  The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date.  In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an Offeror for any costs.
