CITY OF TUSCALOOSA ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Project Name: Jaycee Park Pavilion Renovation File Number: OCA-23-0024 Engineering Project Number: Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on March 28, at 10:00 AM local time for this project, at which time bids will be opened and read. Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on March 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM local time. Project Scope: _ The purpose of this bid is for the renovation construction of Jaycee Park Pavilion. General character of said project shall consist of the following: Pressure wash and prep all metal surfaces, including surface rust that may be present on the pavilion. Prime with Multiprime 4160/Devguard 4160 or equivalent. Paint with Pitt-Tech Plus 4216 HP or equivalent. Color to be determined by owner. Repair all roof leaks or holes. Replace all existing lighting fixtures with Luminoso LED Canopy High Bay lights. The Luminoso LED Canopy High Bay lights will be provided by the City of Tuscaloosa. Repair any electrical issues associated with the lighting and power. Award of the contract will be made within forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of the bid opening. Plans and Specifications: Plans and specifications and all related Contract Documents are open for public inspection at the office of Construction, Facilities and Grounds, located at 2201 University Blvd., Tuscaloosa, Alabama and plans, specifications and other elements of the contract documents may be obtained from the office of the Construction, Facilities and Grounds Department, designated as the office of the awarding authority for this purpose, located at 2201 University Blvd. The contact person for the project is Craig M.
