The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to. This procurement is required in order for the acquisition of a MiG 17F Jet Aerobatics Demonstration Contract for Seymour Johnson AFB for the April 2019 Wings Over Wayne Airshow. This procurement is intended to be awarded as a sole source due to FighterJets, Inc., being the only company which has a pilot that has night flying certification to provide a night show with lights and has ground surface waiver requirements. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting From A Single Source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
