The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service intends to award a sole-source award with Restore Max LLC to provide mold remediation, repair and renovation for the IHS Drug Dependency Unit in Winnebago, Nebraska. This facility has had water damage from leaks that have been repaired, but the water damaged areas are seeing mold growth. The facility has full-time residents and the mold growth could make the air quality hazardous. 

Restore Max LLC is a local company (Sioux City, IA) that has the experience with remediation work needed for this project.  The company has the equipment and staff necessary to be on-site quickly with the least amount of interruption.

The Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-2:  Unusual and Compelling Urgency, 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(2)) was approved on 11/9/2022.
