The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to award a purchase order for "Software and License for ONE Step CTiP" and "1 Additional Seat for ONE ArtProfile CTiP Software License" to KBA-Giori S.A.  This Purchase will be acquired under FAR Part 14-Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

This acquisition will be made under a Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) as there is only one responsible source.  The JOFOC is per FAR sub part 13.106-1(b)(1).  This synopsis is made per FAR sub part 13.105(c).

ONE Step and Art Profile are both CTiP software programs developed and sold only by KBA-Giori S.A. of Switzerland.  KBA-Giori S.A. has proprietary rights and restriction on the use of the software and licenses.  Therefore, KBA-Giori S.A. is the only responsible source to satisfy the Government's requirements on this acquisition.
