The Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JPO) intends to issue a sole source cost reimbursement modification to expand the scope of the current contract N00019-02-C-3002 with Lockheed Martin Cooperation, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, P.O. Box 748, Fort Worth, TX 76101. Lockheed Martin shall design and develop engineering solutions, subsystem and structural layouts, and manufacturing procedures to incorporate a hard-point and missionized drag chute on the F-35 aircraft. Lockheed Martin is the only responsible source capable of supporting this requirement. Any interested responsible sources shall submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.
