The Air Combat Electronics Group (PMA-209) of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM), located at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland intends to extend the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Rockwell Collins, Government Services, 350 Collins Road, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 52498. This BOA was negotiated on a Sole Source basis with Rockwell Collins, Government Services, in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Rockwell Collins is the original software and hardware designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the CDU-based Common Cockpit System presently installed in Navy and Marine Corps aircraft. The services and supplies to be procured from the contractor include, but are not limited to, engineering and logistics services necessary to continue to integrate CDU-based Common Cockpit Systems into United States Navy and Marine Corps aircraft including the P-3C, EP-3, C-2A, E-2C, H-46 and the H-53 series aircraft. These engineering and logistic services will include support to platform prime integrators, modification and development of software in the CDU-based Common Cockpit System to facilitate necessary functionality as directed by the Chief of Naval Operations, software maintenance, flight test support, development of training documentation and trainer source data, and the procurement of test article kits. This BOA will provide for Rockwell Collins CDU-7000 product support to include maintenace and modification of systems currently installed on and currently being installed on the platforms mentioned above.
