Amendment A0001 dated 6/23/2009 - See Attached Amendment PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SOLICITATION IS AN INVITATION FOR BID. PLEASE READ THE ATTACHED SOLICITATION, DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR PROPER SUBMITTAL OF YOUR BID. Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required ro repair Racine Harbor Reef Light (LLNR 20480) Aids to Navigation Team Kenosha, Kenosha, WI. Work is off-shore. Work includes but is not limited to – Remove existing tower in its entirety. Demolish and remove the upper concrete deck, including rebar, from the top of the foundation. Remove outer portion of gunite coating and concrete vertically down around the perimeter of the foundation. Fabricate and install ice protection sheathing around the base to the foundation. Ice protection sheathing shall be fabricated in four sections and placed atop the timber crib. Fabricate the navigational aid tower. Mount (GFE) aids to navigation equipment (AtoN) on the tower. The estimated range is $500,000 - $1,000,000. Performance Period is 120 DANTP. This action is a total HUBZone Set-Aside. The NAICS for this project is 237990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $33.5M. The Prime Contractor shall perform, at a minimum, 25% of the labor at the job site with employees from its own workforce. No telephone or written requests for solicitation or posting status. A bid bond is required. A Plan Holders List or Bidder’s List is not available from this office. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings (if applicable) shall be available for download exclusively from the Internet o/a 4/20/09, (DO NOT call for project status – when available the documents will be posted at FedBizOps) by accessing the U.S. Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit Cleveland website at www.fbo.gov.
