NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA)/SOURCES SOUGHT.  The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division Contracting Branch, (AFLCMC/HNCK), Joint Base San Antonio Lackland intends to award, on a sole source basis, a Fixed Price Purchase Order for the procurement of eight (8) KG-333 Remote Control Units (RCUs, NSN: 5810-01-542-0014, P/N: 0N697030-1), to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Rockwell Collins Inc., 3200 E. Renner Rd, Richardson, TX 75082, Cage Code: 13499.

: Item is an End Crypto Unit (ECU) Remote Control Unit (RCU), used to remotely control the functions of the ECU.

Required Delivery: 180 days after receipt of order

The proposed contract action is for the procurement of this item for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source.  The Government intends to make an award by September 2016.  No technical data/drawings/Technical Orders are available.  If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirements, it may identify its interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within seven (7) days of this publication.  Interested firms must indicate whether they are large, small, any socio-economic classifications, and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. An AFLCMC Ombudsman has been appointed to consider and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. Before consulting the Ombudsman concerned parties should first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendation to the Contracting Officer for resolution. IAW AFFARS 5352.201-9101, the AFLCMC Ombudsman is (Primary) Lt Col Kenneth L.
