Responses to this solicitation will require submission of a Bid Guarantee in accordance with FAR 52.228-1 Bid Guarantee.  The amount of the bid guarantee shall be 20% of the bid price (base + all options).

This work is located on National Forest System Roads on Kosciusko Island.  Kosciusko is located approximately 48 air miles NW of Thorne Bay along the north west side of Prince of Wales Island and is accessible by seaplane or boat.  The Community of Edna Bay Alaska is connected to the roads to be rehabilitated under the resulting contract.  The work involves:

1.  Removal and Installation of Culverts
2.  Excavation
3.  Roadway Reconditioning
4.  Chansaw Felling of Merchantable Timber
5.  Clearing and Grubbing
6.  Roadside Brushing

Price Range:  $250,000 - $500,000
