Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide Door Hardware Installation Servicesto the Kennesaw State University (hereinafter, KSU) as further described in this eRFQ. Kennesaw State University is seeking a supplier to provide Door Hardware Installation Services. This supplier will be responsible for installing and repairing all door hardware as well as the ability to provide maintenance on various components of any existing door hardware on the Kennesaw Campus located at 1000 Chastain Road Kennesaw, GA 30144 and the Marietta Campus located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway Marietta, GA 30060. Door Access is in the process of upgrading the electronic locks. The SALTO System leverages a HotSpot infrastructure that will allow access privileges to be updated locally rather than by visiting a centralized office. SALTO locks are the campus standard for all electronic locks on both KSU campuses. The two most common Salto electronic access control components currently in use are the HotSpots that are primarily located on exterior doors and used to update card access and the Stand-alone door locks that are primarily used for single offices, classrooms and meeting spaces. The system has enhanced technical capabilities that will meet the door access needs of the campus community more efficiently while also enabling the Door Access team to process new requests for access credential more promptly. Overview of the eRFQ Process The objective of the eRFQ is to select one or more qualified suppliers to provide the goods and/or services outlined in this eRFQ to the State Entity. This eRFQ process will be conducted to gather and evaluate responses from supplier for potential award.
