Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide Mobile Bleachers to The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia by and on behalf of Kennesaw State University (hereinafter, KSU) as further described in this eRFQ. Please refer to the bid documents for detailed information and requirements. Only electronic bids submitted via Jaggaer Sourcing Director by the closing deadline will be considered. No emailed or faxed bids will be accepted. KSU reserves the right to request further documents. Restrictions on Communicating with Staff: Suppliers are not allowed to communicate for any reason with any State staff except through the Issuing Officer named herein. Objective KSU intends to enter into an agreement with a qualified supplier(s), to provide Mobile Bleachers for an initial term of one (1)-year, with the option to renew the contract for up to four (4) one (1)-year terms. This solicitation does not commit KSU to make an award and the University reserves the right to accept, reject or cancel this eRFQ in part or in its entirety as determined to be in the best interest of the University. Award may be in the aggregate, or by line item, or by group, whichever is determined to be in the best interest of KSU. Overview of the eRFQ Process The objective of the eRFQ is to select one or more qualified suppliers to provide the goods and/or services outlined in this eRFQ to KSU. This eRFQ process will be conducted to gather and evaluate responses from suppliers for potential award. All qualified suppliers are invited to participate by submitting responses, as further defined below. After evaluating all suppliers¿ responses received prior to the closing date of this eRFQ and resolution of any contract exceptions, the preliminary results of the eRFQ process will be publicly announced, including the names of all participating suppliers and the evaluation results.
