This is a sources sought synopsis in support of market research being conducted by the United States Air Force (USAF), through the Air Force Security Assistance Center (AFSAC), Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio 45433-5337 The Air Force Security Assistance Center (AFSAC), Wright Patterson AFB, OH is seeking qualified, interested sources to provide qualified U.S. Communication Security (COMSEC) managers (one primary and one alternate) to support the USG and Foreign Country Armed Forces Interoperability programs. THERE IS NO PROMISE OF A CONTRACT. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. ANY REQUESTS FOR A SOLICIATATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The anticipated contract will be an Indefinite Delivery ââ¬â Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a period of performance of five (5) years starting approximately Dec 2007. We expect to select three (3) to five (5) companies capable of meeting our requirements. Up to a Top Secret (TS) clearance will be required for this effort. Please reference the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement for a detailed description of the requirement. Interested contractors should submit their capability statement to include, but not limited to, (1) COMSEC experience in foreign countries,(2)a description of COMSEC equipment your company has experience with, (3)previous or current contracts, with POC for each, for COMSEC related support, and (4) demonstrate your knowledge of proper procedures for handling COMSEC materials.
