This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote (RFQ) for the required supplies and services as required by solicitation N00189-05-T-0291. A complete statement of work and technical attachments shall be obtained directly from this contracting office. FISC Norfolk intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Requirements (IDTC-Requirements) type contract for the following: Husbanding services in support of the USS Vicksburg (CG-69). This contract will be awarded using the policies and procedures under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with the policies and procedures in FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Period of performance shall be approx. from 20 June 2005 through 24 June 2005. The contractor shall provide services in accordance with the statement of work. Pricing shall be completed in accordance with technical Attachment 1, Pricing Spreadsheet. At a minimum, responsible sources shall provide the following: a price proposal per attachment or a SF1449 which identifies the requested item, with its unit price, extended price, total price, prompt payment terms, remittance address, Tax I.D. #, Duns #, and Cage Code.
