The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary Canaan, Pennsylvania, intends to solicit for the provision of Landfill Services for the federal offenders incarcerated at the United States Penitentiary (USP) Canaan, located in Waymart, Pennsylvania. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the government. The estimated quantities for the base year and each option year are 775 tons of solid and wet nonhazardous waste. Services will be performed at the Contractor's disposal facility which shall be located within a 50 radius or less from the institution. The Contractor is responsible for full compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. The solicitation will be made available on or about July 28, 2021, and will be distributed solely through the Sam.gov website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.
