NOTE: THIS IS AN END-OF-FISCAL-YEAR PURCHASE, AND FUNDS ARE NOT YET AVAILABLE. Contract award is pending availability of funds. The United States government makes no guarantee of contract award. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for F1W2E28261AG01. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24. The associated NAICS code is 339943 with a size standard of 500 employees. This RFQ contains (1) line item. The line item description is as follows: Line Item 0001: Laser Etching Machine, must be able to etch deep enough into tools to prevent significant degradation of etching over time (1064 nm wavelength or better), must be able to etch tools that are 36” long, must be able to etch characters at least 1/8”, and must be able to etch various materials (wood, plastic, metal, etc.), must be enclosed to allow etching in close proximity to people, must have tool-memory function so that users do not have to reprogram duplicate tools, must include user-friendly computer interface program; Price must include shipping to Elmendorf AFB, AK 99506; Quantity: (1); End Item Description. The required delivery date is 60 days after receipt of an order and shall be FOB Destination.
