USDA, ARS, is seeking a contractor to provide the FACSymphony A5 system. This requirement is brand name or equal per FAR 52.211-6.
Salient characteristics:
High parameter expandable flow cytometer with 5 laser detector systems with adjustable laser power and capability for adding additional lasers and associated detectors:
o The 355nm laser detector system must consist of 5 detectors with the following filter setup: (378/29), (410LP; 450/50), (450LP;515/30), (690LP; 740/35), (770LP; 820/60)
o The 405nm laser detector system must consist of 6 detectors with the following filter setup: (450/50), (505LP;525/50), (600LP; 610/20), (635LP; 670/30), (690LP;710/50), (750LP; 780/60)
o The 488nm laser detector system must consist of 3 detectors with the following filter setup: (505LP;515/20); (690LP;710/50); (750LP;780/60).
o The 561nm laser detector system must consist of 5 detectors with the following filter setup: (586/15), (600LP; 610/20), (635LP;670/30), (690LP; 710/50), (750Lp; 780/60)
o The 637nm laser detector system must consist of 3 detectors with the following filter setup: (670/30), (690LP; 710/50); (750LP; 780/60).
• All lasers have adjustable power and laser control software which allows the user to adjust laser power up or down on an as needed basis for fine tuning.
• Laser 488-50-150 mW LS SORP
• Laser 637-40-140 mW LX SORP
• Laser Violet 405-50-100 mW LX
• Laser UV 355-20-60 mW W/BE SORP
• Laser 561-50-100 mW LS SORP
• Fixed alignment optics in conjunction with high powered solid state lasers ranging in power from 60mW to 150mW
• Have low noise digital acquisition electronics with acquisition speeds of up to 40,000 events per second.
• Have sensitivity of <30 MESF-PE and <80 MESF-FITC
• Have the capability of being upgradable to 10 lasers, 50 parameters with 48 colors.
This sources sought request is being used as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to provide the product(s) required. The result of this market research will contribute to determining whether there are adequate sources available from which to receive competitive proposals.
