The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Southeast Regional Office (SERO) located in St. Petersburg, FL intend to acquire services to provide Laserfiche electronic document management system (EDMS) software to enter, store, and manage our official federal records as well as other non-record documents. The NMFS Southeast Regional Office (SERO) in St. Petersburg currently uses Laserfiche electronic document management system (EDMS) software to enter, store, and manage our official federal records as well as other non-record documents. This acquisition is for continued software maintenance and support for this EDMS system. This software maintenance includes all software upgrades and patches for the software, as well as telephone support for the software. This telephone support is to resolve problems, assist with software upgrade/patch installation, and general software assistance. This EDMS is central to our management of official records for FOJA requests, Administrative Records needed for court actions, and other purposes. The system must be kept operational and must be maintained to support these requirements. Since the software is Laserfiche, only support for Laserfiche is possible for this acquisition.
