The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source purchase order award to LexisNexis, a division of Reed Elsevier Inc. (formerly Image Capture Engineering Inc.) This vendor provides maintenance and technical service to users of their LAW Premium Scan Edition software. Current market research indicated that this vendor is the only provider of LAW Premium Scan Edition, and, that LAW Premium Scan Edition may be “proprietary” to this vendor. Vendors who may be capable of providing the required services may submit their company information, system data and a clear and convincing proposal that explains their ability to furnish the requirement. Responses to this notice must be received on or before the indicated response date and time given for this notice.
