The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to lease parking spaces located in the building of the CFTC Headquarters at 1155 21st Street, NW, Washington, DC. The current parking spaces available are located directly in/under the building and are managed by LAZ Parking. The contractor is the only source that can provide the service.
The purchase order will be for a period of performance of one (1) year, 11/1/2020 through 10/31/2021. Pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the Contracting Officer hereby determines that circumstances of the procurement deem only one source reasonably available to fulfill CFTC's requirement.
THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS nor a solicitation of offers. However, the Government will consider written responses from all responsible sources received by 3:00pm EST, September 17, 2020. Written responses must include sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes for future Market Research requirements. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any costs of preparation in response to this announcement.
