The United States Government currently occupies off and related space in a building in Hidalgo, Texas that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space if economical advantageous. The Government will use the information it receives in response to this advertisement as a basis to develop a cost benefit analysis and to determine whether to compete the lease requirement or pursue a sole source justification to remain at its current location. In making this determination the Government will consider amoong other things, the availability of altenate space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirement, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as phusical move cost, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
The offered space must have a bridge over to Mexico and meet the Government requirements for Fire, Life-Safety, Seismic and Handicapped Accessibility. Property located within a bsase floodplain (100 year floodplain) or wetland will not be considered.
