UT Health San Antonio has approximately 7,000 employees and growing. After a challenging year with respect to the pandemic, we found that we need additional resources to address the increase in leave requests. An outsourced vendor will be able to provide consistency and fairness in application with respect to leave laws. We are also adding paid family leave component. The vendor will allow us to better track, monitor, and report on leave usage – whether FMLA or other type of leave request.
