Legislative Branch Industry Day at the U.S. Capitol

This is NOT a solicitation for a proposal, proposal abstract, or quote.

The U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms (SAA), along with other Legislative Branch Procurement Offices, is hosting a Legislative Branch Industry Day on June 25, 2024, 9:00 a.m. to noon at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center, Congressional Auditorium. This event is for contractors interested in doing business with the Legislative Branch and is open to any business. If you are interested in attending, please register at https://aocfeedback.questionpro.com/industry-day-registration with the names of each attendee from your company (limit three per company).

Government organizations regularly host “Industry Day” events to provide information on pending procurements, encourage competition, create a level playing field for all potential offerors, and educate offerors on procurement practices and policies. The SAA is committed to excellence, integrity, fairness, accountability, and innovation on behalf of vendors that support the SAA mission.

The SAA Acquisitions Department is responsible for structuring, negotiating, awarding, administering, and closing out Senate procurements in accordance with Senate Procurement Regulations and SAA Procurement Procedures. Using best procurement practices, the SAA advises the Senate on business and acquisition strategies, performs market research, assists with requirements definition, and guides stakeholders in selecting the best value vendor.

  • Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contracts
  • Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA)
  • Purchase Orders (PO)
