This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. THIS MEANS AN SF-1449 WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
Solicitation 15B61819Q00000026 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-05.
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 332993.
This requirement is for various fire inspection/maintenance services for the United States Penitentiary Atwater during the fiscal year 2019 (October 1, 2018 - September 30, 2019).
The basis for award will be best value to the Government. Quotes will be evaluated considering past performance and price. Responsible offerors shall incorporate shipping costs and any other internal processing costs into their bid price. Order will be awarded on a firm-fixed price purchase order and paid electronically once service has been completed and proper invoice has been received.

This acquisition is for brand‐name supplies - please see the attached brand name justification.
USP Atwater currently only holds certification to train the in the use of less lethal munitions manufactured by AMTEC Less Lethal Systems Inc. However, USP Atwater may be open in the future to other brand name less lethal munitions if instructor training is provided by that manufacturer prior to the next solicitation. Interested vendors may submit capability statements via email to the Contracting Officer, who will forward the information to the USP Atwater Training Department for further evaluation and response.
