This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The Office of National Marine Fisheries Conservation Biology Division has a requirement for two types of line to be used for moorings for acoustic recorders. The entire solicitation is attached. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ Number RA-133F-15-RQ-02172. This solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 314994 with small business size standard of 1000 employees.

The government intends to issue a firm fixed price order for supplies with required delivery date of no later than June 22, 2015. All quotes must be FOB destination, Seattle, WA 98112. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within ten (10) calendar days of its publication.
