The Department of the Navy (DoN) intends to negotiate a one-time sole source contract with Maine Standards Company LLC, 221 Route 1, Cumberland Foreside, ME 04110. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-2.

The Department of the Navy (DoN) intends to award a non-competitive, sole source contract to Maine Standards Company LLC, 221 Route 1, Cumberland Foreside, ME 04110 for the Linearity Kits and Johnson Vitros 5600 that meets DON's requirement.
Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined DON's requirement can only be provided by Maine Standards Company LLC are the sole manufacturing authority and hold all data, machinery and processes Linearity Kits and Johnson Vitros 5600 that meets DON's requirement.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 5:00 pm, EST, September 15, 2017 by email to the attention of Nancy Purvis, Contract Specialist, at [email protected]. Facsimile offers will not be accepted. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
