This acquisition is for the procurement of 600 (Large) CVC Helmet Liners. The corresponding National Stock Number (NSN) is 8415-01-470-2840. The Liners shall be in accordance with applicable portions of MIL-H-44117A and drawing DD 80063 A3206617-3. First articles are required and (5) units shall be inspected at the Contractor’s Facility for visual and dimensional conformance; additionally Shade Evaluation of Contractor Furnished Materials is required for this item. The Solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement and the anticipated Solicitation issuance date is July 10th, 2008. A Firm Fixed Price Contract is suitable for this procurement using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable procedures.
